Lazowski knew she had a good business idea. In 2017, she crowdfunded $9,467 of the $55,000 she requested on Indiegogo to make an organic, dairy- and gluten-free hot cocoa. It helped Lazowski launch Bare Life, an allergen-friendly food brand in West Hartford, Connecticut, in September 2018.

Their assorted hot cocoas and frozen hot cocoa are crafted from simple, organic ingredients that are sustainably sourced from socially conscious producers. Their whole ingredients contain no preservatives and make their hot cocoa mixes organic, gluten-free, dairy-free, refined sugar-free, kosher pareve, paleo, plant-based, vegan, non-GMO, soy-free, and corn-free – all without sacrificing taste! The packaging is BPA free and recyclable.

Bare Life has been honored with the 2022 Food & Drink Award for Best Vegan Cocoa Brand by LUXlife Magazine, a prestigious UK-based publication that celebrates excellence in luxury products and services.
