1. In a small bowl whisk together all of the ingredients.
  2. Add the mixture to a medium non-stick pan.
  3. Cook on medium-high heat until sauce reaches a boil.
  4. Once it has boiled, turn the heat down to medium and continue cooking your sauce, stirring occasionally. Continue this until it has thickened and darkened to a rich golden brown, about 20 minutes.
  5. Then remove the caramel from the stove and allow to cool a bit before serving.
  6. Enjoy!
  7. Store in the refrigerator and warm slightly before serving.
